Every quotation starts from your gas load, chemistry and vessel geometry. If a standard pad is genuinely the right answer, we will tell you that too.

Supply scope: knitted mesh pads, vane packs, replacements and woven cloth. Fiber-bed candles, full vessel internals and emission-performance guarantees are outside the default supply scope unless separately agreed in the PI.

Knitted Wire Mesh Demister Pad

A widely used mist eliminator: layered knitted mesh built to an agreed construction and installed density, supplied round, oval or segmented for manway installation, with or without support grids and tie-down wires.

  • Materials: SS304, SS316L, SS321, Monel 400, nickel alloys (grade selected by chemistry), duplex 2205, PP, PTFE, ETFE
  • Wire or filament size specified together with material, installed density, thickness, crimp and layer construction; co-knit (metal + fiber) only after droplet-size, pressure-drop and fouling review
  • Diameter and section layout subject to vessel ID, support ring, actual manway clear opening and insertion-path review
  • Installed density, thickness and voidage selected for the stated service rather than copied across materials

Mist Eliminator Replacement (Reverse Engineering)

Send a controlled drawing where available. Without one, field measurements, the old pad and contextual photos can start a documented take-off; unknowns remain open until the manufacturing basis is frozen in the PI. The most common first order is replacing an aging pad without the original drawing.

  • Dimension take-off from field measurements, the old pad and controlled sketches; photos provide context but do not establish scale by themselves
  • Material alternatives (SS304, SS316L, duplex, Monel, plastics) reviewed against full chemistry and upset cases, with the cost delta stated in the quotation
  • Delivery with a dimensional inspection report against the PI-agreed drawing, measurement points and acceptance limits

Vane Pack / Chevron Mist Eliminators

For high liquid load, fouling or high-velocity service where mesh pads flood. Engineered case by case, standalone or combined with a mesh agglomerator stage.

  • SS or PP blade packs, single/double pocket profiles
  • Combined mesh + vane arrangements for wide turndown

Woven Wire Mesh & Filter Cloth

Square-weave cloth specified using ASTM E2016 / ISO 9044 terminology and dutch-weave filter cloth using ASTM E2814 terminology, for filtration, sieving and support layers. Any required edition, conformity and test basis are stated in the PI.

  • Common range: mesh 2–635, plain/twill/dutch weave; extreme specs subject to line verification

Order Planning Basics

Check these before you send an RFQ

These notes are for early planning only, not binding commercial terms. The PI controls the final specification, MOQ, delivery time, Incoterms, documents and payment schedule.

MOQ

Custom demister pads and replacements can usually be quoted from one set. Woven cloth, rolls and fabricated filter parts depend on weave, material, width and line minimums, so MOQ is confirmed at quotation and stated in the PI.

Lead time

Lead time is quoted case by case after material availability, drawings, QA documents and packing scope are clear. The schedule starts only after deposit receipt and final written specification confirmation, whichever is later.

Incoterms

Quotations can be prepared on common B2B terms such as EXW China or FOB China main port when suitable. The exact Incoterms, risk transfer point and document list are always written in the PI.

Acid-mist note: sulfuric acid / SO₃ fog can include sub-micron aerosols. For those duties, evaluate droplet-size distribution and emission limits first; specialist fiber-bed systems may be required and are not part of Meshium's current standard supply scope.
